PREMIO 1906 MONDE SELECTION

Our 1906 beer  has been one of the great winners at the Monde Selection 2014 award ceremony held by the International Institute for Quality Selections on Monday 2 June, in Bordeaux.

Our Extra beer was awarded two Gold Medals for both of its reference beers, 1906 Reserva Especial and 1906 Red Vintage, which certifies them as being of the highest degree of Quality by some of the most outstanding experts who make up the jury in each edition.

Both 1906 Reserva Especial and 1906 Red Vintage have received a large number of Taste and Quality awards in numerous international contests. 1906 Red Vintage “La Colorada” is an exceptional case as, less than two years after its launch, it has already become consolidated as a reference beer on an international scale and it has received prestigious international awards, such as the Gold Medal at the World Beer Challenge to its name.

The International Institute for Quality Selections, Monde Selection, has been evaluating the quality of almost 3,000 products from 87 nationalities for over 40 years, with the aim of highlighting the efforts made by different brands to promote quality in their products. It is one of the most renowned and well-established institutions on an international level due to its commitment to the quality of consumer products.

The jury of these awards is made up of renowned international chefs, members of the French Culinary Academy, and master sommeliers from all over Europe.
