Agua de Cuevas reinforces its image and commitment to sustainability
Our Asturian mineral water brand Agua de Cuevas is dressed in green to
highlight its origin and its commitment
to nature and the circular economy.
After the progressive change of all its packaging to rPET, at the end of this year 2021, 100% of the containers of Agua de Cuevas will come from other bottles.

Agua de Cuevas updates its image trying to better reflect its
identity through its packaging. It is dressed in green showing its origin, a
colour that takes us to the Asturian mountains where the spring is located, as
well as reflecting its firm commitment to sustainability, both strategic
pillars of the company.
Our Asturian mineral water brand is strongly linked to the natural
environment from which its waters come, also supporting emblematic events for
Asturias such as the Descent of the Sella, and, in recent years, has reinforced
its commitment to the care of nature, in particular through circular economy.
Last July, Agua de Cuevas announced the launch of its flagship 1.5 litre format in a container made of 100% recycled
material, making it the first Asturian spring that makes its commitment to sustainability concrete. Hence,
at the end of 2021 the brand expects 100% of its packaging to come from other
bottles.
This milestone in terms of innovation and sustainability implies that
millions of recycled PET bottles will be given a second lease of life each
year, significantly reducing the impact of its activity on the environment and supporting
on circularity in the use of resources.
