The beer 1906 presents the best of Galician gastronomy in Porto

Solla, Daporta, Vieira and Olleros will take part, alongside our company, in an event that combines the best art and gastronomy in the heart of the capital of the Douro River.

On Thursday, the first of a number of collaborations will take place with an offering from Yayo Daporta, and there will be a new event with a new protagonist every month.

Our beer 1906has become involved in an artistic and cultural project revolving around a space called La Oficina in the heart of the Portuguese city of Porto. This space has become a reference for cultural dynamism due to its constant activity in the spheres of literature, music, plastic arts, and architecture, combined with a differentiating gastronomy proposal.

It is within this frame that our company has backed the “Estrelas da Galiza” (Galician Stars) project, which will take some of the top talent in Galician gastronomy to the hobs of La Oficina with the intention of establishing an interchange between the two regions via the culinary vision of each of the Galician chefs within an avant-garde setting in Portugal.

Names like Yayo Daporta, Pepe Solla, Javier Olleros and Xosé Cannas, ambassadors of Galician gastronomy and members of the Nove group, will participate in this project within the next few months, and will present their proposal in La Oficina alongside our beer brand.
